Why is an unbiased 3rd party scouting evaluation important?

An unbiased scouting evaluation from a 3rd party is a skill and academic assessment that provides a college level projection, and it comes from a party that has no affiliation to the student-athlete that is being assessed or to the colleges that they might be sending the assessment to. This includes; club and travel coaches/directors, high school coaches, current client advisors, pro scouts/college coaches with whom the student-athlete had a previous relationship with. It is important to receive an unbiased scouting evaluation from a 3rd party because they will give you an evaluation that has no preconceived biases that falsifying information would be a benefit to anyone. It is important that the 3rd party is reputable in the industry and their evaluation can be taken with respect from others within the industry. It is important that the 3rd party has nothing to gain from the outcome of the evaluation.
