I attend camps, showcases and combines, do they give me enough exposure?
This depends on the format of the event and what college coaches are at the event. In person, exposure is very important and helps tremendously if you are one of the most elite athletes and top performers at that event. In our experience in-person exposure at camps and showcases should be very strategic and timely. The majority of the student-athletes participating in these events will not benefit in the recruiting process. Furthermore, if you perform poorly, your stats and performance will be on the internet permanently. It is essential that your family chooses the right showcase, camps and combines at the right time. Most commonly parents send their student-athletes to events too often and too young which can lead to a negative recruiting impact and waste of time and money.
